World in Peace is a non-profit organization founded by us middle and high school students in May 2024. Our activities began with a strong desire to help people. 

Since I was a small child, I have always valued helping others and actively assisted my teachers and friends. When I entered junior high school, a worldwide outbreak of the new coronavirus began, schools were closed, online classes were introduced, and a serious situation of “medical collapse” and “medical crisis” was spreading in the medical field. In an effort to improve this situation, I launched the “New Coronavirus DIY Project. In cooperation with friends, I made handmade face shields and gowns using trash bags, clear files, and other personal items, produced about 300 face shields and about 30 gowns, and donated them to two hospitals in the Kinki region. Receiving messages of appreciation and warm words from hospital personnel, our entire team realized the power of “mutual help between people.

There are still many areas of the world that do not enjoy peace. Our mission is to confront a wide range of social problems, such as disasters and wars, without giving up. I believe that private organizations such as NGOs/NPOs like us can play a significant role in addressing issues that governments are unable to address. In particular, I would like to focus on what we can do “because we are high school students,” rather than “because we are high school students,” and work proactively on those issues.
